Volunteering and Committees The
Friends of Turnbull are always looking for individuals that would be
interested in volunteering their time toward any of the projects
that FOT is involved with. These projects range from the yearly tree
planting outings to bird banding at the refuge, to helping at the
FOT Store (located on the refuge) and fundraising. The following are
the various committees that FOT has formally established to address
the needs and goals of FOT in regards to the refuge. Feel free to
contact any of the board members or the refuge directly if indeed
you are interested in working on any projects at Turnbull.
Volunteers are what make the Friends of Turnbull a reality and we
are always looking for folks that want to help!

the various funding requests for the refuge, the Friends of Turnbull
Endowment and the Environmental Education program.
Membership Activities: develop programs for FOT
members to become more familiar with the refuge and other refuges
around the Pacific Northwest.
Newsletter: to maintain membership lists and to
correspond with new members and to help create and contribute to the
quarterly FOT newsletter.

fundraising, a never-ending necessity. This includes community
outreach, membership drives, T-shirt sales, etc. |
